Cumpliendo con el calendario, ya tenemos la posibilidad de descargar o actualizar a Karmic Koala Beta.

• Arquitectura UXA en el driver de video Intel disponible para su prueba.
• GCC 4.4 como compilador por defecto.
• Upstart.
• Sistema de archivos ext4 por defecto.
• GRUB 2 por defecto.
• Ubuntu One por defecto
• Desarrollo de aplicaciones con Quickly
• Software Center
  

La release candidate esta prevista para el 22 de octubre y la version final para el 29 de octubre
